Former president Jair Bolsonaro even called human rights the “manure of laziness.”

The traitorous duo Eduardo Bolsonaro (who idolizes torturer Carlos Ustra) and Paulo Figueiredo (grandson of João Figueiredo, the last president of Brazil’s dictatorial regime) even asked the US Congress to sanction Minister Alexandre de Moraes and for the US to intervene in Brazil under the Magnitsky Act, directly attacking national sovereignty. In other words, they support a coup d’état and dictatorship but now speak of “human rights.”

What is worse is recognizing that political figures who openly (!) defend torturers and coup attempts now try to invert reality. They claim that investigating crimes against democracy is “dictatorship.” It is the upside-down world: those who attacked sovereignty pose as victims while those who uphold the law are accused of oppression.

6.
