The two-day meeting, which runs until Friday (7), takes place ahead of <a href=\"https:\/\/cop30.br\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">COP 30<\/a>, scheduled for November 10\u201321, 2025.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"577\" data-end=\"649\">Convened by President Luiz In\u00e1cio Lula da Silva, the summit aims to strengthen <strong>international dialogue<\/strong> on environmental protection and energy transition. Now the debt stands at US$1.3 trillion\u201d, Lula said.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"577\" data-end=\"649\">For her part, Environment Minister Marina Silva added that reducing social inequality is a key part of confronting the climate crisis and that environmental preservation must be seen as a long-term investment.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"577\" data-end=\"649\"><span style=\"color: #008080;\"><strong>Media coverage<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"577\" data-end=\"649\">Over the two days, the Leaders\u2019 Summit will feature plenary sessions, thematic discussions and working lunches.
