The style is regarded as an innovative form of literature that brings together artistic and research approaches, opening new possibilities for interpreting contemporary reality.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1202\" data-end=\"1466\">One of the most significant aspects of the prize is that it provides for concrete measures: <strong>the winners\u2019 works will be translated into 10 languages.<\/strong> Publication of Salwa Bakr in Russian by <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/AST_(publisher)\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AST, one of Russia\u2019s largest publishing groups<\/a>, has already been announced.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1468\" data-end=\"1639\">It is worth noting that <a href=\"https:\/\/bricsbrasil.com.br\/en\/brics-literature-prize\/\"><strong>Brazilian writer Ana Maria Gon\u00e7alves was the Brazilian finalist in the award<\/strong><\/a>, which brought together contemporary authors from 10 BRICS+ countries.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"577\" data-end=\"649\"><span style=\"color: #008080;\"><strong>Salwa Bakr: about the winner<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Salwa Bakr is considered <strong>one of the leading contemporary authors writing in Arabic.<\/strong> She is the author of seven novels, seven short story collections and one play. Our consciousness was nourished by the great Russian literary legacy of Chekhov, Dostoevsky, Maxim Gorky and a whole constellation of brilliant writers, alongside authors from India, China, Brazil and other countries.&#8221;<br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 120px;\" data-start=\"577\" data-end=\"649\"><em><span style=\"color: #008080;\">Salwa Bakr \u00a0&#8211; Writer and Novelist<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p>After receiving the prize, Salwa emphasized that <strong>BRICS<\/strong>, beyond being a \u201ccivilizational alliance\u201d, has for decades contributed to the formation of a <strong>global humanist culture.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"577\" data-end=\"649\"><span style=\"color: #008080;\"><strong>Read impactful quotes<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>According to the organizers, Salwa Bakr reinforces the cultural dimension of <strong>cooperation among BRICS countries<\/strong> and highlights the role of Egyptian literature in <strong>building this humanist space on a global scale.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 120px;\">&#8220;For Egypt, it is a great honor that it is precisely our writer who becomes the first laureate of the BRICS Literature Prize. This is not merely news about an award \u2014 it is a sign that contemporary Egyptian prose is being heard and understood far beyond our country\u2019s borders. Salwa Bakr is an author with a very distinctive and free voice, who reveals to readers the real and living Egypt.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 120px;\">Her victory shows that, within BRICS, the conversation is not limited to politics and economics; a common cultural space is taking shape here, where our stories, our languages and our values are heard on equal footing.
