YouTube channel launches short videos with curiosities about festivals, zodiac signs and Chinese customs, strengthening the cultural bridge between Brazil and China.<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

Instituto CPFL<\/a> has launched this month a brand-new series that brings Chinese culture closer to the daily lives of Brazilians. The series features 40 short videos of up to one minute that present aspects of Chinese culture and traditions in a simple and engaging way.<\/p>\n

The content will be released weekly and aims to bring Brazilian audiences closer to one of the world\u2019s oldest civilizations, sparking interest in its customs, symbols and ways of thinking.<\/p>\n

“Each video is an invitation to cross symbolic borders. By exploring festivals, zodiac signs and customs, we aim to bring cultural universes closer together and show that Brazil and China can recognize each other through the exchange of knowledge.”<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Did you know that Chinese New Year<\/strong> changes dates every year?<\/p>\n

Unlike the Western calendar, the celebration follows the lunar calendar<\/strong>, based on the movement of the moon, and usually takes place between mid-January and February. In 2026, it will be celebrated on February 17.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Also known as the Spring Festival<\/strong>, Chinese New Year marks the beginning of a new cycle in the zodiac. Each full cycle lasts 60 years and is divided into smaller 12-year cycles, each represented by an animal sign: Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog and Pig.<\/p>\n

The year 2026 corresponds to the Fire Horse, symbolically associated with a period of movement, courage and transformation.<\/strong><\/p>\n
