BRICS Forum to discuss culture, peace, prosperity and happiness

Event in Brasília promotes dialogue and international collaboration focusing on universal values, contemporary challenges and solutions for the world.

From September 15 to 17, 2025, Brazil will host the 2nd BRICS Forum in Brasília, an international meeting that will bring together parliamentarians, experts, entrepreneurs, cultural figures, public organizations and civil society from BRICS+ countries and partner states.

With the theme “Uniting traditions, strengthening nations”, the event is a parallel initiative to the official BRICS agenda and seeks solutions to global challenges beyond politics and economics. The model ensures greater freedom to address social and cultural issues in depth, encouraging the exchange of experiences and the development of innovative proposals.

Values that unite nations

The values that inspired the BRICS Forum 2025 program were defined in debates during the first edition in 2024 in Russia. On that occasion, participants identified universal principles capable of bringing cultures and nations closer together. The result was a list of values including:

Culture and literature as a bond between nations

One of the event’s highlights is the appreciation of culture and literature as a means of uniting countries and their peoples.

Writers and thinkers play a fundamental role in expressing identities and traditions, translating into words the values that shape society. In this sense, literature becomes a space of convergence, allowing different cultures to find common ground without losing the uniqueness of their voices.

This view is also endorsed by Boris Tarasov, President of the World Association “True Values” and CEO of the Forum. He points out that culture and values are fundamental to national identity and sustainable development, gaining increasing relevance in BRICS discussions.

Family, childhood and the future of generations

Another axis of the event will be support for families and childhood. Among the planned initiatives is the proposal to create the International Union of BRICS Fathers (conceived by psychologist Vladimir Zuyev), which aims to value family, promote responsible fatherhood and ensure child protection.

The program also includes the signing of a partnership with the Brazilian NGO Promundo, which has extensive experience in supporting families and promoting responsible fatherhood. This exchange of practices will expand opportunities to assist children and parents in different countries.

Discussions will also cover child safety and support for minors in vulnerable situations, including those with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), with attention to rehabilitation and assistance in cooperation with volunteers.

Ethics and responsibility in business

In the economic field, the event will present the proposal of the BRICS Entrepreneurs’ Alliance, aimed at creating a business environment based on ethics, solidarity and mutual trust. The idea is to form networks of entrepreneurs committed not only to economic growth but also to positive social impact, supporting community initiatives, educational projects and assistance to vulnerable groups.

This movement seeks to show that development and social responsibility can move forward together, opening the way for a new international business culture.

Innovation and artificial intelligence

Technological innovation will also be on the agenda, especially regarding the use and regulation of artificial intelligence. The event will be a space for specialists to discuss ways to apply AI ethically, seeking a balance between innovation and social well-being.

This is an area where international exchange can accelerate progress and prevent inequality, turning technology into an instrument of sustainable development.

BRICS Entrepreneurs’ Alliance

During the BRICS Forum, the BRICS Entrepreneurs’ Alliance will be launched, based on the principles of compassion and solidarity.

“Our goal is to create a new type of business community, where the main value is not only profit, but also the willingness to serve others and help those truly in need: orphans, refugees, people in distress. We believe that entrepreneurs who are ready to give their time, resources and attention will become reliable and honest partners.”

In addition, the creation of a business registry in each country is planned. “I believe that setting up a registry of trustworthy entrepreneurs is our second main goal. Each country will have its own registry. We are talking about a community with the highest level of trust. That’s what we are striving for.”

Health, happiness and well-being

Health and happiness are considered foundations for sustainable development at the forum. The program foresees the exchange of experiences and best practices in physical and mental health, especially with countries such as China (leader in preventive medicine) and India.

“For example, in India there is a Ministry of Happiness. We intend to study this issue and perhaps plan to establish a Ministry of Happiness in Russia, which would be responsible for the mental well-being of our nation.”

Other initiatives include the creation of a permanent international council, the development of a unified register of clinics, research centers and experts with proven qualifications, and the joint training of professionals.

By bringing together voices from different countries in Brasília, the 2nd BRICS Forum is expected to consolidate itself as an international platform dedicated to building joint solutions and strengthening cultural and humanitarian ties. More than debating policies, the event puts humanistic principles at the center of the agenda, showing that it is indeed possible to bring nations closer through shared values in the pursuit of a better world.
